| Qualification | Participation is limited to teams of three or more people per boat. This tournament is planned to be an international competition open to foreign nationals. However, participants must meet certain conditions, such as being on a Japanese vessel registered as a recreational fishing boat and operated by a Japanese captain. *This document summarizes the common rules for marlin fishing (trolling) competitions in the waters off Ibaraki Prefecture, as outlined in the Ibaraki Prefecture Marine Fisheries Adjustment Regulations and the Ibaraki Sea Area Fisheries Adjustment Committee's instructions.
① Adherence to basic conditions for harvesting and capture
